Description

11/22/22 - This is a nice example of a Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military at the end of 1943. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 88" military acceptance proofs throughout. It has retained about 90-92% of its original finish. There are areas of light, somewhat spotty wear along both sides of the slide, concentrated mostly around the high edges. There is muzzle wear and minor thinning along the barrel. There is very minor thinning and light spotty oxidation on the front strap and along the whole underside of the frame. Comes with nice period-correct blackish-brown bakelite grips (a couple of dings on the left side) and an un-marked magazine. The bore is near-mint. De-cocker is functional.
