SOLD - Commercial DWM Luger - Lunch Box Special

11/9/22 - This DWM Luger is an oddity, for sure. There is no chamber date, it has commercial "Crown N" proofs throughout, there is a "Germany" export marking on the right side of the slide, and it is chambered in .30 Luger. All of these factors tell us that this gun was manufactured to be sold in the international commercial market, likely in the 1920's. However, there are no serial numbers anywhere on the gun! We are not quite sure what to make of it, but this could be a "lunch box special" - or un-serialized parts taken by a factory employee and put together later. But the truth is lost to history! In any case, the gun has retained about 85% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the grip straps, where there is also some light brown patina. Very minor wear on some of the high edges. Comes with very nice wood grips (tiny chip in the upper corner of the left panel) and a proper "Germany" marked magazine. Excellent bore - shiny with strong rifling.
