Description
11/8/22 - This is a very nice example of an AC 41 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1941. This is a first variation example, characterized by the "ac" on the trigger guard. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs throughout, even on the small parts. There is a tiny "34" marking on the left side of the frame - we're not sure what it means. The entire gun has been professionally restored and refinished. It has retained virtually all of its new bluing with some areas of pin-pricking under the bluing here and there. Comes with brown bakelite grips - slightly shaved along the top edges. They are numbered and proofed but not matching to the gun. Also comes with a scarce late-war "U" marked Walther magazine. The bore has good rifling with some pin-pricking in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.Specifications
