Description
12/6/22 - This is an excellent example of a rare Nazi contract pistol - the Spanish Astra 400 (1921). There were only ~6,000 Astra 400's produced for the Nazi contract, all in 1941, as evidenced by the Awschalom factory letter which detailed the serial range for this contract. This particular gun was part of the first delivery of about 4,500 guns on October 18, 1941. It is all matching has no Nazi military markings (correct). It has retained about 97% of its original bluing with just very minor wear on some of the high edges and light spotty wear on the front strap. Very light brown patina on the back strap and some tiny freckling here and there. Fitted with excellent period-correct wood grips and comes with one matching-numbered magazine. Minty bore.Specifications
