Rare Walther Mod HP - 2nd Swedish Contract

12/6/22 - This is a rare early Walther P.38, marked and known as the Mod HP or M/39, that was part of the second Swedish contract order for these pistols. There were only about 500 of this variant produced, all in April of 1940. This particular gun is listed by serial number in the original manifest. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle N" proofs. It has retained roughly 85% of its original high polish finish. The majority of the wear is on the front strap, but there is also very minor wear on the very front edges of the slide, and one tiny spot of wear on the left side of the slide. Some light scratches along the right side of the slide. Fitted with a set of high quality reproduction black plastic grips and a P.38v magazine. The bore is shiny with strong rifling and some minor frosting in the grooves. De-cocker is not functional. Painted rear sight.
