Description
12/16/22 - This is a very nice example of a Remington Rand Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1943. It is "United States Property" marked, has a cross-canon military cartouche on the right side of the frame, and has a proper High Standard barrel. It has retained about 91-92% of its original parkerized finish. There is minor wear around the muzzle and on the high edges in general. Some minor thinning on the right side of the frame. A few tiny handling marks on the front strap. While there isn't a ton of actual finish loss, There are areas of light brown patina under the finish throughout. Comes with excellent period-correct grips and one proper magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling.Specifications
