Description
12/9/22 - This is an interesting example of a "between the wars" luger rig. It was made by DWM, dated 1920 on the chamber, and later reworked during the Nazi era (See WaA66 proof on right side). This rework was most likely done in the 1930's when the Nazi's were in power and trying to sneak guns into inventory which violated the Treaty of Versailles. They added the police sear safety and what appears to be police unit marking on the front strap. The gun comes with a mismatched police arsenal-numbered magazine. The gun has retained about 98% of its finish. There are just hints of wear on the side plate and very front edges of the side rails. Some very light spotty wear on the front strap and minor dulling on the back strap. Fitted with un-numbered wood grips. The left grip panel is notched for a police magazine safety, but there is none installed. A small chip in the upper corner of the left grip panel. Minty bore.Specifications
