Description
12/23/22 - This is a very nice example of a Remington Rand Model 1911A1 that was originally issued to the US military in 1943. It was later reworked and sold to the public as a part of the CMP Program. The slide and barrel were replaced and have mismatched serial numbers. The gun comes with a really nice CMP-issued Pelican-style hard case, a reproduction owners manual, and gun lock. It also comes with a set of nice WW2-era grips and one proper magazine. The gun itself has retained about 97% of its finish with minor wear concentrated around the high edges. Some light handling marks and scuffs here and there. The word "LEAD" is inscribed on the right side of the frame, which indicates it was arsenal reworked at Letterkenny. Minty bore.Specifications
