Description

12/19/22 - This is a very nice example of a scarce Beretta Model 1934 issued to the Italian Air Force in 1942. It has the proper Italian "Royal Eagle" Air Force marking on the left side of the tang. It is matching, but it appears the frame has been renumbered. It comes as a rig with one proper magazine and a period-correct green leather holster. The gun itself has retained about 92-93% of its original high polish finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the grip straps where there is also light brown patina and minor freckling. Very minor wear around the muzzle and on the high edges of the slide as well. Fitted with period-correct black bakelite grips - the left panel is chipped in the bottom corner. The bore has good rifling with just minor frosting in some of the grooves.
