Description

1/18/23 - This is a nice example of a Turkish Mauser rifle from 1933. There are no import marks, but the bolt and receiver are mismatched. The receiver is dated 1933 and has the proper Turkish star and crescent moon seal. There is very little actual finish loss on the gun overall, but there is heavy brown patina covering all of the metal parts. The wood stock shows signs of use throughout - dings, bruises, and scratches. There is a hairline crack around the wrist, just behind the trigger group. Mint bore.
