Description

1/19/22 - This is an excellent example of a BYF 42 "Black Widow" Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1942. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 135" military acceptance proofs. It comes fitted with a set of original black bakelite "Black Widow" grips - excellent condition. It comes as a complete rig with an excellent 1942-dated "Waffen 23" proofed holster, an "Eagle 63" Luger tool, and two original Black Widow magazines (excellent condition). The gun itself has retained roughly 97% of its original finish with areas of minor wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, and on the side rails. A couple of tiny handling marks on the side plate. The bore is near-mint.
