SOLD - Boxed Commercial Walther PP (179833p - 23502)

Description

1/11/23 - This is a very nice example of a Walther PP sold in the commercial market in 1940. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle N" commercial proofs. This one comes with its original matching-numbered box, a period-correct finger extension magazine, a period-correct flat bottom magazine, and an original cleaning tin. The cleaning tin is of the later variation that features the Walther banner and includes an original glass oiler bottle, yellow Walther cleaning rag, and some original horse hair. The cardboard box has seen better days - virtually all of the side panels are slightly torn and starting to come apart. The gun itself has retained about 92-93% of its original high polish finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the grip straps, but there is also minor muzzle wear and an area of wear on the trigger guard. Fitted with excellent period-correct black bakelite grips. Minty bore.
