SOLD - Commercial Walther PP Rig (911126 - 23527)

Description

2/1/23 - This is a nice example of a Walther PP sold in the commercial market in 1935. It is all matching and has the proper "Crown N" commercial proofs. It comes as a rig with one proper Walther banner-only magazine and an Akah leather holster. The holster has seen better days - the leather is fairly dried with surface cracking throughout and some small mold spores here and there. There are what appear to be the remnants of an old sticker on the back. The gun itself has retained roughly 85% of its original high polish finish. There is finish loss and light spotty oxidation on the grip straps. An area of obvious wear on the right side of the slide. There is wear around the muzzle and along both sides of the slide, concentrated mostly around the high edges. Fitted with a pair of period-correct black bakelite grips - noticeable cracking along the left edge of the left panel. Minty bore.
