Description

3/15/23 - This is a Colt Model 1911 issued to the US military in 1918. It is "United States Property" marked and has the proper "Eagle Head S17" military acceptance proof. Correct "H P" Colt barrel. It has retained roughly 75% of its finish. There is thinning on both grip straps and splotchy wear / discoloration on most of the gun. Areas of spotty oxidation and minor pitting here and there, most noticeable on the left side of the slide. Nice period-correct grips and comes with one correct two-tone magazine. Excellent, shiny bore with strong rifling.
