Description

8/25/23 - This is a nice example of a Nagant Model 1895 Revolver, made in the Tula Factory and issued to the Russian military in 1938. It is all matching with no import marks. It has retained only roughly 40% of its original finish with obvious finish loss and splotchy discoloration throughout. A couple of very small spots of light pin-pricking here and there. Fitted with excellent period-correct wood grips - there is a tiny crack in the wood piece on the front strap. Original lanyard loop is intact. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is pitting throughout.
