Description

7/17/24 - This is an excellent example of a BYF 42 "Black Widow" Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1942. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 135" military acceptance proofs. It comes with a set of original black bakelite "Black Widow" grips and an original "Black Widow" magazine. There are a few minor blemishes on the left grip, and there is a repaired crack in the bakelite magazine bottom. The gun itself has retained about 97 of its original finish. There is minor wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, and on the very front edges of the side rails. Just a hint of thinning on the barrel. A couple of tiny scratches on the left side of the frame and some very light freckling on the grip straps. The bore has strong rifling with some light spotty freckling throughout.
