Description
1/19/23 - This is an excellent and unique grouping. First is the gun. This is a DWM Artillery Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1917. It is all matching and has the proper Imperial military proofs. Second is the stock. This is an excellent wood shoulder stock that is matching-numbered to the gun - no military proofs. Finally, it comes with a Type-2 snail drum magazine that is also matching-numbered to the gun. Both of these accessories had to have been added later, since the gun was issued to the military during WW1. We believe the gun was retired from military service after the war and sold in the commercial market. These accessories were likely added by a retailer (ie AF Stoeger) and sold together. In any case, the gun has retained about 96% of its original finish with minor wear around the chamber, around the muzzle, on the side plate, and on the side rails. Some very light spotty wear on the grip straps. Fitted with very nice matching-numbered wood grips. Excellent, shiny bore with strong rifling.Specifications
