Description

4/24/23 - This is a very nice example of a Colt Official Police revolver, manufactured in 1934 and chambered in .38 Caliber. 4" barrel. Comes with a period-correct box that does not match the gun. The gun itself has retained about 94% of its original high polish bluing. There is minor thinning / dulling on the grip straps and areas of minor wear on the underside of the trigger guard, around the muzzle, and on the high edges of the cylinder. Light roll mark on the cylinder as well. Some freckling on both sides of the frame. Fitted with very nice wood grips - some minor wear along the bottom edges. Mint bore. The cylinder is tight, and the action is smooth.
