SOLD - RZM Walther PPK Rig (830458 - 23920)

Description

3/31/23 - This is an original and correct RZM marked Walther PPK from 1935. The RZM (Reichs Zeug Meisterei) was the equipment office of the NSDAP and was established to contract for equipment. These pistols were commonly thought to be issued to the German political leaders of the time. This one is all matching and comes as a rig with a nice tan leather Akah holster, one period-correct finger extension magazine, and one post-war flat-bottom magazine. What makes this one particularly interesting is that the inside of the holster has the German's name, along with his party leader ID number "316 666", and the matching serial number to the gun. The name is not clearly legible, but we a little research, we believe you could find out who this rig belonged to! The gun itself has retained about 92-93% of its original high polish finish with wear around the muzzle and spotty wear along the right side of the slide. Minor freckling on the front strap. Excellent brown Walther grip - no cracks or chips. Excellent bore with great rifling. The hold open does not work with the post-war magazine.
