Description
4/19/23 - This is a nice example of an end-of-war "a" prefix Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military at the end of WW2, in March of 1945. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 88" military acceptance proofs throughout. It also has the proper late-war cog hammer. Comes with a post-war pig-skin leather holster that has an added pouch for a Luger tool. The gun itself has retained about 90% of its finish. There are areas of splotchy discoloration on both sides of the barrel and on both sides of the slide. Minor thinning and spotty oxidation on the front strap. Fitted with excellent blackish-brown bakelite grips. Comes with a P.38v magazine. Very nice bore with good rifling. De-cocker is functional.Specifications
