Description

2/28/23 - This is a very nice example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1936. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 63" military acceptance proofs. It has retained about 95% of its finish with areas of wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, and on the high edges in general. While there isn't much actual finish loss, there are areas of light spotty oxidation throughout, most noticeable on the grip straps and on the left side of the gun. Some minor pin-pricking on the barrel and left side of the gun as well. Brown patina on the grip straps and on the side plate. Fitted with nice wood grips - the left is numbered and not matching, the right is un-numbered. Comes with mismatched East German magazine. The bore has good rifling with some very minor frosting in the grooves.
