Description

3/6/23 - This is a nice example of a BYF 41 "Black Widow" Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1941. It is all matching, has the proper "Eagle 655" military acceptance proofs. It comes with one period-correct black bakelite "black widow" magazine and it is fitted with a set of high quality reproduction grips. The gun itself has retained about 90-92% of its original bluing. The majority of the bluing loss is on the chamber and on the right side of the slide, but there is also minor wear around the muzzle and on the side plate, and there is spotty wear along the barrel. There is freckling on both grip straps and some spotty oxidation with tiny pitting on the chamber. The bore has strong rifling, but there is light freckling throughout.
