Description

3/7/23 - This is a very nice example of a BYF 42 "Black Widow" Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1942. It is all matching, has the proper "Eagle 135" military acceptance proofs, and comes with an excellent set of high quality reproduction "Black Widow" bakelite grips. It comes as a rig with one original "Black Widow" magazine, one mismatched aluminum bottom magazine, a blank tool, and a nice 1942-dated holster. The gun itself has retained about 92-93% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss comes in the form of thinning on the grip straps, but there is also minor wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, and on the side rails. Some minor dulling in the finish on the left side of the frame. Very nice bore with strong rifling and light freckling in the grooves.
