Description

7/10/24 - This is a rare CZ 46, a P.38 put-together from leftover Nazi parts and reworked by the Czechs in 1946. This one is all matching, has the proper Czech lion proof, and a proper Czech "E" proof on the left side of the frame. The frame was made by Spreewerk and has an "Eagle 88" proof on the left side. The slide was made by Walther - the "AC 45" factory code and "Eagle 359" military proofs are very faint. The barrel was made by Walther and has an "Eagle 359" proof. Cog-style hammer. The gun has lost nearly half of its finish with obvious finish loss and spotty oxidation along the slide. Minor thinning on the front strap. Fitted with excellent blackish-brown bakelite grips. Comes with an un-marked and pitted magazine. Very nice bore with good rifling. De-cocker is not functional.
