Description
3/8/23 - This is an excellent example of a Springfield Model 1903 rifle, manufactured in 1932. The receiver dates to 1932, and the barrel is SA marked and dated September of 1932. It has all of the correct characteristics for this era, such as the "C" stock, correct early upper handguard, and correct rear sight. The bolt is marked "NS" for nickel steel. The metal parts have retained most of their finish with wear around the front sight and some very minor thinning on the receiver. There are areas of dark splotchy discoloration throughout. Minty wood stock. Comes with green canvas sling. The bore has strong rifling, but there is minor pin-pricking in the grooves.Specifications
