Description

3/31/23 - This is a nice example of a "Red 9" Mauser C96. It started its life as a wartime commercial Mauser C96 chambered in 7.63mm. It was then professionally restored and reworked. The barrel was replaced to accept 9mm, and the gun was given a set of reproduction "Red 9" grips. It comes as a rig with a nice reproduction tan leather holster with shoulder strap. The entire gun was refinished, so the bluing is really nice with almost no actual finish loss. There is pitting under the finish on the frame around the grips. Import mark on the left side of the frame. Mint bore.
