4/5/23 - This is a nice example of an AC 40 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1940. All matching with the proper "Eagle 359" proofs throughout. This one comes with one original matching-numbered magazine. It has retained about 96% of its bluing. There is not much actual finish loss, but there are areas of pin-pricking throughout (most noticeable on the front strap and along the right side of the slide) and areas of pitting on the left side of the barrel and on the trigger guard. Excellent matching-numbered and waffen-proofed grips. The bore has decent rifling, but there is noticeable pin-pricking throughout. De-cocker is not functional.
