Description

3/31/23 - This is a very nice example of a Colt Model 1911 issued to the US military in 1918. It is all correct and has retained roughly 75% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the back strap, but there is noticeable thinning on the front strap as well, and minor thinning with light scratchy wear along the left side of the slide. A few very light scratches on the right side of the slide. Fitted with period-correct wood grips - some tiny gouges on the right side. Comes with a period-correct two-tone magazine with a lanyard ring on the bottom. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
