Description

4/19/23 - This is a very nice example of a Nambu Type 14 issued to the Japanese military in November of 1935. It is all matching and comes as a rig with one mismatched period-correct magazine (the number is very close) and a scarce leather clam shell holster. The gun itself has retained nearly all of its original finish. While there is almost no actual finish loss, there is noticeable freckling throughout. The finish on the grip straps is fairly dull with some tiny pits. Very nice wood grips, hand-numbered on the inside to match the gun. There are some numbers painted in white on the left side. The bore has strong rifling, but there is light spotty oxidation throughout.
