Description

4/5/23 - This is a very nice example of a "42 Code" Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1940. All matching with the proper "Eagle 655" military acceptance proofs. It has retained about 93% of its original finish with minor wear around the muzzle and on the side plate. Minor thinning and light brown patina on both grip straps. Fitted with excellent matching-numbered and waffen-proofed wood grips. Comes with a mismatched "Eagle 63" proofed magazine. The bore has great rifling, but there is minor frosting in the grooves.
