Description

4/18/23 - This is a near-mint Remington Rand Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in early 1945. It is "United States Property" marked, has the proper "FJA" inspection stamp, and has a cross-cannon military cartouche on the right side of the frame. Proper High Standard barrel. The gun has retained essentially of its original parkerized finish with just hints of wear on some of the high edges and a very light scratch around the slide release lever. Some small spots of minor discoloration here and there. Fitted with correct reddish plastic grips. Comes with a period-correct "R" marked magazine. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is pin-pricking and minor fouling in the grooves.
