SOLD - Rare BYF 41 Mauser "Ku" Luger

4/17/23 - This is an excellent example of a rare "Ku" prefix Luger. The historical significance of these pistols is still largely debated in the collector community, but the general belief is that these are Lugers put together by Krieghoff using leftover parts. This one is all matching, has the proper "Ku" serial suffix, and has the distinctive Luftwaffe markings on the barrel and right side of the slide. This one is of the BYF 41 variation. "S/42" armorers replacement marking on the barrel. The gun itself has been completely professionally restored and re-blued, so the finish is really nice. Almost no actual finish loss except for hints of wear on the side plate and front edges of the side rails. Both grip panels are marked with the full matching serial number "1327", which is correct for this variation. Comes with a matching-numbered magazine, but we believe it was force-matched. The rifling in the bore is a bit worn with light oxidation and pitting throughout.
