Description

5/11/23 - This is a nice example of a Mossberg Model 44 rifle, chambered in .22 LR and used to train the US military during WW2. It is "US Property" marked on the receiver and barrel. Equipped with a Mossberg Microclick adjustable rear sight. The metal parts have retained nearly all of their finish, but there is spotty oxidation throughout and some brown patina on the bolt. Excellent wood stock, but there is some dried adhesive on the left side of the butt stock - likely from tape. The stock has been reshaped. Mint bore. Comes with one proper magazine.
