Description

6/2/23 - This is a nice example of a JP Sauer and Sohn Side By Side Shotgun, chambered in 12GA and likely manufactured in the 1920's. All matching with the proper German proofs throughout. The barrels are blued, but the receiver is case-hardened and features a light filigree engraving pattern. There are some light scratches and areas of light spotty oxidation along the barrel. The majority of the case-hardening on the receiver is worn. No major damage to the wood furniture, but there are some scratches here and there, most noticeable on the foregrip. The bores are like-new. Comes with an excellent leather sling. Small import mark on the inside edge of the receiver.
