Description

5/17/23 - This is a very nice example of a Mauser Banner Luger issued to the Nazi police in 1942. The gun is all matching, has an added police seer safety, a proper police "Eagle L" marking, and a Mauser Banner logo on the toggle. It has retained about 95% of its original bluing with wear around the muzzle, on the side rails, on the side plate, and one small spot at the base of the front strap. Some tiny scratches on the barrel near the muzzle. Some pin-pricking on both grip straps and tiny handling marks on the front strap. Fitted with un-numbered wood grips - some bruises on both sides, more noticeable on the left side. Comes with a period-correct mismatched but police "Eagle L" marked Haenel magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is frosting in the grooves.
