7/5/23 - This is an excellent example of an Enfield No 2 Mk 1 issued to the British military during WW2. It is all matching and has the proper British proofs throughout. It comes as a rig with a nice tan leather holster and lanyard. The inside of the holster has some hand-writing that appears to be dated with the soldier's name. The gun itself has retained about 96-97% of its finish with very minor wear on some of the high edges and on the front strap. Some spots of dark discoloration on the right side of the gun. Fitted with nice, period-correct black bakelite grips - there are initials lightly scratched into the top of the left panel. The bore is mostly shiny with great rifling, but there is some light pin-pricking around the muzzle end.
