SOLD - RZM Walther PPK (827324 - 25560)

Description

5/22/23 - This is an original and correct RZM marked Walther PPK from 1934-35. The RZM (Reichs Zeug Meisterei) was the equipment office of the NSDAP and was established to contract for equipment. These pistols were commonly thought to be issued to the German political leaders of the time. This one is all matching and has retained about somewhere between 85-90% of its original high polish finish. The majority of the wear is on the left side of the slide around the muzzle, but there is also minor wear along both sides of the slide, concentrated around the high edges. Fitted with a brown Walther grip - there is a crack in the spine and a hairline crack on the right side. There are micro-scratches in the bakelite throughout where it almost appears as if someone tried to sand it. Comes with a period-correct Walther banner-only finger extension magazine. Excellent bore with great rifling.
