Description

5/31/23 - This is a very nice example of a G Date Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1935. It is mostly matching, but the sear bar is mismatched, the firing pin is un-numbered, and the barrel is an un-numbered commercial replacement. There are East German police "sunburst" markings on the frame and some West German export markings throughout. The entire gun has been re-blued. There is thinning on the grip straps and minor wear around the muzzle and on some of the high edges. Some light streaks of wear on the barrel. Some tiny scratches on the left side of the frame. Some tiny pits on the front strap. Fitted with an excellent set of replacement wood grips. Comes with a matching police arsenal-numbered magazine. The bore has good rifling with minor freckling throughout.
