Description

5/31/23 - This is a very nice example of a BYF 42 Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1942. All matching with the proper "Eagle 135" military acceptance proofs. This gun also comes with an original leather lanyard and an original "black widow" black bakelite bottom magazine. The gun itself has retained about 95% of its bluing with minor wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, and on the front edges of the side rails. A spot of discoloration on the front strap. While there isn't a lot of actual finish loss, there are small spots of oxidation here and there and an area of oxidation and pitting on the front strap. Fitted with excellent un-numbered wood grips. The bore has strong rifling and areas where it's very shiny, but there is light spotty freckling throughout.
