6/6/23 - This is a very nice example of a BYF 42 Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1942. It is all matching with the proper "Eagle 135" military acceptance proofs. It comes as a rig with a very nice 1942-dated holster, a rare "Eagle 135" marked tool, and two original "black widow" magazines. The gun itself has retained about 94% of its original finish. There is minor wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, on the front edges of the side rails, and at the base of the grip straps. Hints of dulling and brown patina on the grip straps. Some minor spotty discoloration along the barrel. Excellent bore with strong rifling. Fitted with minty un-numbered waffen-proofed grips. The bore has decent rifling, but there is minor pitting throughout.
