6/1/23 - This is a very rare Walther PP that was manufactured in 1939 and sent to Persia as part of a contract order, potentially for either the police or military. This is one of only about 2,000 produced. The pistol is all original, with Farsi legend and markings on left side slide and frame, and the Walther legend on the right side. These pistols were also chambered in the more rare and desirable 9mm Kurz. It has retained roughly 60% of its original finish. The majority of the wear is on the grip straps, but there is also wear around the muzzle and on the high edges in general. Some light scratches/handling marks here and there on the slide. Fitted with very nice period-correct black bakelite grips. Comes with a proper 9mm Walther magazine. Minty bore.
