Description
5/31/23 - This is a WW2-era Model 1911A1 that was modified in the 1960's for National Match shooting for civilians at Camp Perry. Commonly known as the "Camp Perry National Match" gun. It has the National Match barrel, slide and sights. All correct for this model. Also, the unique front strap features a unique Camp Perry knurling. This one has a particularly scarce Union Switch & Signal-made frame from 1943. "AA" and "RIA" arsenal markings on the frame. This one also has what we believe to be its original arsenal tag on the trigger guard. The finish rates about 99% with almost no actual finish loss - just a few spots of discoloration at the left front of the slide. Fitted with excellent wood grips. Mint bore. Very smooth action.Specifications
