8/3/23 - This is a mint condition Auto Ordnance 1911A1 commemorating the US invasion of Normandy on D-Day. It was manufactured in 2008, part of a production of only 1000. Made with 24-Karat gold plating, this one is in pristine, unfired condition. Comes with original locking display case, and keys. This one is also inscribed on the right side of the slide, so may have been presented as a gift or custom order. It reads: "MAJOR JAMES CALDWELL -RETIRED- 761st TANK BN" with his ssn after.
