SOLD - Minty, French SVW 45 Mauser P.38

Description

7/5/23 - This is a minty example of a Mauser P.38 put together by the French using leftover Nazi parts immediately after WW2. This one was imported by Interarms and has an import mark on the underside of the slide. The gun is all matching, has a French star on the right side of the slide, and has one "Waffen 135" Nazi military acceptance proof on the barrel. It has retained nearly all of its finish with very minor wear around the muzzle and on the very front edges of the slide. While there is very little actual finish loss, there are two areas of minor pitting on the top of the barrel in the ejection port and on the top plate. Fitted with nice black plastic grips - light scratches on both sides and both are slightly shaved. Comes with a waffen-proofed jvd magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout. De-cocker is functional.
