Description
6/14/23 - This is a potentially rare 1917 Erfurt Luger with Deathshead proof over the chamber. This is a post-WWI Nazi rework, and there are various theories on the Deathshead marking. These range from being issued to flamethrower units to being early SS, while some collectors don't believe they were original. Research and decide for yourself. In any case, this one has all matching numbers, Imperial proofs on the slide, and tiny "Crown RC" markings throughout. Comes with a matching-numbered "Crown RC" marked magazine. We believe this gun has been arsenal-refinished with very minor wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, on the side rails, and on the front toggle link. Brown patina and pin-pricking on the grip straps. A few small areas with tiny pits here and there. Fitted with matching-numbered, Erfurt-proofed grips. Mint bore. The hold-open does not work properly with this magazine.Specifications
