Description

6/21/23 - This is an excellent example of a Colt Service Model ACE, chambered in .22 LR and issued to the US military in 1944. It is "United States Property" marked, has a cross-canon cartouche, and has the proper "GHD" military inspection initials. It has retained about 95% of its original parkerized finish with minor wear around the muzzle and along the high edges of the slide. Some very light surface scuffs here and there, and one tiny ding in the metal on the left side of the slide. Fitted with excellent period-correct reddish plastic grips and comes with one proper "ACE" marked magazine. Mint bore.
