Description
8/1/23 - This is a minty example of a Smith & Wesson Victory revolver that was part of the British/Australian Lend-Lease Program during WW2. It was issued to the British or Australian military. It ended up at the Lithgow arsenal in Australia in 1954 where it was reworked. It is all matching and marked "United States Property". There is an import mark on the left side of the frame and an "FTR MA 54" marking on the right side of the frame, which indicates the rework at the Lithgow arsenal. The gun has retained nearly all of its parkerized finish - there are just some minor handling marks here and there. Fitted with nice period-correct wood grips - the right panel is numbered but not matching. Mint bore.Specifications
