Description

8/15/23 - This is a very nice example of a BYF 41 Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1941. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 655" military acceptance proofs. It comes as a rig with one original matching-numbered magazine, an "Eagle 655" tool, and a very nice 1941-dated holster. Some of the pieces on the inside of the holster are made from pigskin leather. The gun itself has retained about 93-94% of its original finish. There is minor wear around the muzzle and on the high edges, some light pin-pricking on the grip straps, and some spotty discoloration along the right side of the barrel and frame. Fitted with excellent un-numbered but "Eagle 655" proofed wood grips. The bore is shiny for the most part with strong rifling, but there is some light spotty oxidation around the muzzle end.
