Description
8/18/23 - This is a very nice example of an earlier Sauer 38h issued to the Nazi military during WW2. It is all matching, has an early high-polish finish and has an "Eagle 37" military acceptance proof on the left side of the trigger guard. It has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original finish. There is minor muzzle wear and an area of wear on the trigger guard, but most of the finish loss comes in the form of spotty wear along both sides of the slide, concentrated mostly around the high edges. Some minor dulling and hints of pin-pricking on the grip straps. Fitted with very nice black bakelite grips - tiny hairline crack around the right screw hole. Mint bore.Specifications
