Description
8/25/23 - This is a very nice example of an Erfurt Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1918. It is all matching and has the proper Imperial and Erfurt proofs throughout. There is a "10./J.R.15.10." unit marking on the front strap. "Crown RC" markings on the barrel, slide, and frame. There is a "1920" government property on the chamber, indicating it remained in government service following WW1. It has retained about 90% of its bluing with areas of wear along the barrel, on the side plate, and on the side rails. Some discoloration on the side plate as well. There are tiny handling marks throughout. Fitted with fairly worn matching-numbered and Erfurt-proofed wood grips. Comes with a reproduction magazine. The bore has decent rifling, but there is pitting in the grooves.Specifications
